๐ฃ Alerts
Alerts are created when a threshold condition is met. They help you react quickly to issues with instruments, methods, or lab workflow.
๐ง What Triggers an Alert?โ
An alert is triggered when:
- A rule matches a pattern in your log
- A threshold is configured on that rule
- That threshold is breached (e.g., too many events, or a method takes too long)
๐จ How Alerts Are Deliveredโ
- Email: Chipper notifies assigned users with alert details
- Slack: Alerts can be routed to a specific channel
- Dashboard: Alerts appear on the main dashboard and alert history page
๐ Whatโs in an Alert?โ
- Time triggered
- Instrument/method context
- Trigger rule name
- Threshold condition
